Gondolas of Noosa Website & Photography

The Brief

This was a really nice project, redeveloping one of my first websites from about 10 years ago.

The focus of the brief was on style. It’s an upmarket business, in an upmarket town, and while it had to look stylish, it also had to look great on mobile devices as a large percentage of their clientele came from mobile. I also took almost all of the photography for the site and wrote or edited a lot of the copy.

Our Design Approach

The approach with the design was to incorporate a lot of photography with stylish design elements and classy fonts to give the site a luxury feel.

A custom font was used throughout the site for headings, and a whole raft of features were implemented throughout the site,  from pricing tables, modal popups, testimonials, detailed booking form, galleries, parallax background images and more.

The Results

The result is a stunning showcase style of website that complements the brand and positions the business where it needs to be. It’s stylish and elegant, but still very functional. A lot of information is imparted with the use of modal dialogues and pricing tables in a way that makes that information easy to access and understand.
