		<description>Have you not looked at Lightroom? You can do a lot of the image manipulation that would be done in Photoshop (albeit wihtout layers or selections) and all your chanegs are stored in the catalog as history, applied to the DNG file. THen when you export a file for use, you canb export whatever version. No need to save files at various stages of the workflow. It also has a round trip function to photoshop and back if you do need to make any serious edits - that part is maybe a wee bit clunky, but I think it will improve. No need for separate archive of your original DNGs or anything</description>
